New Paris Hilton Songs Get Leaked On The Internet
Paris Hilton faces piracy once again.
This time, unreleased songs from her upcoming music album self-titled "Paris" are leaked all over the internet in Mp3 format.
After "Screwed", we get the chance to listen to "Turn It Up" (coming out soon), "Jealousy", "I Want You", "Fightin' Over Me" (featuring Fat Joe and Jadakiss) and "Heartbeat".
All these songs were released a couple of weeks ago and now, her label, Warner Bros. is trying very hard to stop the spreading. They're in process of notifying every blog that is offering free downloads. But as you know, when something is released on the internet, it will stay on the internet. Thankfully, it turns out all of the songs that were released are incomplete.
I think most Paris Hilton fans really deserve to hear some of her songs, after all, we've waited so long. However, there should be a limit on how much those responsibles release.
Certainly, depending on the impact, there's no doubt the album will be released sooner than expected. On May 1 2006, Paris Hilton said on the Ellen DeGeneres Show that her new song "Turn It Up" will be released in June and her new album "Paris" is expected to be released in August/September.
The songs confirm to many their thoughts on Paris Hilton's voice and singing ability.
Don't think about dissing Paris Hilton's voice, though. She clearly has a nice and sweet voice that is very "soft". From what I heard, I can almost say that Paris Hilton's voice is a bit like Britney Spears' (but not too close)! Although, it is obvious that Paris Hilton has the ability to easily change the tone of her voice, which is a plus for her. She also seems to sing in a very "unique" way: ending some words with a little "eh" (very sweet) and making little weird noise here and there.
Her ability to sing? Not super good, but not too bad. It shows that she's is a beginner. In a few years from now, hopefully she'll be able to perform because I know, right now, she's still working on it.
There are two very catchy songs: "Turn It Up" and "Jealousy". In my opinion, "Jealousy" which is a song directed to Nicole Richie, is by far the best.
Here are my reviews:
"Turn It Up": The original version resembles A LOT to one of Britney Spears' song. You literally think Britney Spears is singing sometimes. This is a very catch song that will no doubt be a hit. The song is being played in clubs where Paris parties...
"Jealousy": This song aims the same effect of "Turn It Up", a very catchy song indeed. I like the way she says Jealousy, Jealousy, Jealousy! Changing the "tone" for each word. The song goes from slow beat to rock beat, vice versa.
"Fightin’ Over Me": It's very interesting to see how Paris selected different genre of music, because since I'm not a "Rap" fan, this isn't a song that I like very much... I think its beat is taken from another song. This song should be very popular in the Rap world.
"I Want You": This is an average song, but enjoyable nonetheless. I just find the repetitive ambulance sound a bit annoying.
"Heartbeat": This song is definitely taken from another song... Actually, it's a remake from a very popular song that I forgot. Not my type of music, once again. But you might be impressed with her singing/vocals skills in this slow song.
The only major downside I see is the lack of originality of her beats. That's because Paris is very much into the 80s. She did say her album will contain Madonna inspired songs. I think this will have positive and negative effects. But not much of a problem...
Finally, Paris Hilton can sing. We know that chances are that she won't get an award (who cares, anyway), but that doesn't mean her songs suck. Regardless, people will either hate her music album (mostly because she's Paris) or praise it.
The funny is that the world will be surprised when they see a very different Paris Hilton, whose special talent is evident in this music album.
