How Many Fake Celebrity Articles Are Out There?

Yet, another one gets caught.

When Nicole Richie once said that more than 90% (something like that) of articles you read about celebrities on the internet and in magazines are fake, she wasn't kidding.

Some don't even fake it, they often want to publish the articles so quickly that they make a lot of mistakes.

Take for example the recent "Richie angered by weight speculation" article which appeared on digitalspy.co.uk, quotes Nicole Riche "She was my sister. She was the funniest, coolest, best person to be around and then she, like, let the fame go to her head and then she thinks, I don’t even know what. She’s not the same person any more. I never want to speak to her again - ever." (referring to Paris Hilton)

But what's funny is that just a few days ago, before that article was published, Paris Hilton said exactly the same statement in Elle magazine.

Another good example is during Paris Hilton's trial, back a few months ago, her opponent used a quote of her from contactmusic.com against her. Paris Hilton was stunned because the quote contained words that she never uses.

This just goes to show you that you shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet. Keep in mind, that the main reason why they write is for money.
